  • HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all mothers who are with us today! We pray God will bless you greatly on this special day in honour of you!!

  • You are asked to be in special prayer for the EMCC Regional Conference, to be held in Calgary from Monday through Tuesday of this week. Our delegates to this are Glenn Hulstein, Pastor Doug and Pastor Ross. Pray for our denomination as it continues to embrace the vision to be a church multiplication movement, and the deep changes that requires from all of us.

  • Surrey Pregnancy Options is holding their 4th Annual “Operation Baby Bottle” drive. Baby Bottles are available for pick up in the church foyer TODAY (Mother’s Day) and are to be brought back on Father’s Day, June 15th. For more info please contact Annette Hollender.

  • Tough Guys Camp last weekend was a great success with 32 men and boys in attendance from our unit. They had an awesome time, and the weather was.decent. Thanks to all the leaders (Wayne, Mark, etc) who helped make this event such a great success. We also had 9 men at our Charis Camp Men’s Retreat! What a great weekend for all of our guys!

  • Couples! Do you need a boost for your marriage? Individuals! Do you want to learn some keys to a building a marriage that will last?   • Sunday, June 1st our special guest will be Doug Braaten of Gospel for Asia. In preparation you are invited to request a free book — Revolution in World Missions by K.P. Yohannan, founder of GFA. One pastor’s comment on this book: “Only the Bible has had a greater impact on my life.” Get your copy now at the foyer Welcome Table.

  • CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) Training will be held July 1-11 in Abbotsford and is available to those who make a commitment to teaching at least 4 (5-Day) clubs. Trainees come in teams of 2. If you are a teen interested in taking this course to work as a summer missionary please see Wayne King or Pastor Doug to discuss the possibility of a subsidy for training costs. Note that summer missionaries can make substantial income towards fall school costs, etc.

  • Did you know you can now make your donations to BCCC through automatic monthly withdrawals? Check the insert brochure for details and to set this up. The system is operational. See Ralph or Glenn for more info.

  • New Sunday Service Schedules for volunteers are now available for pickup from your mailboxes. If you didn’t get a copy and wish to have one please contact Annette.

  • Crisis Pregnancy Centre of Surrey are holding their 4th Annual “Operation Baby Bottle” drive. Baby Bottles will be available for pick up on TODAY (Mother’s Day) after the service and are to be brought back to BCCC on Father’s Day, June 15th. (Old baby bottles now deemed “unsafe” for babies due to BPA are welcomed for this project).

  • Camp Charis has many new & exciting things coming up for the spring and summer. Go to their newly improved website www.chariscamp.com for more information on summer camps & other events. Women’s retreat brochures and summer camp brochures are available in the literature racks by the office.

  • Surrey Food Bank needs your food donations at any time. Please drop off food donations in the box found in the church foyer. Needed are canned meat, meals in a tin, Macaroni & Cheese, pasta, canned or dry soups, peanut butter, canned vegetables & fruits and cereal. Cash donations are welcome as well! Volunteers are appreciated too.

    Are you retired? Working part-time? Needing some good physical exercise on Friday mornings? Wanting to make some wonderful new friends? Yes? Then why not consider joining our Tool Time Crew?!! There is always more work than can be completed with the number of volunteers we currently have. Get involved!

  • The Surrey Family Mentoring Program is looking for volunteer mentors to mentor families in the Surrey Area.   • Our Agape Fund is in place to provide financial assistance to people in our congregation who are in special need. Donations to this fund are welcome at any time.
